Thanks for sharing this, Steve. I had many discussions on this one, and I'm glad to see that you came to the same conclusion as I did. One other thing to consider: Some US startups have access to capital at scale; most don't, and neither do European startups. Therefore, lean is still the way to go for most new ventures. Especially when you need to prove your idea fast. Although, we learned much more in the past 15 years, and "The Lean Startup" as described in Eric Ries book might be somewhat outdated - not dead.

PS: A solid Product-Market fit process would not have been the worst idea for Quibi.
